Welcome to new Lecturer in Glaciology Tom Chudley! Tom has joined us from Durham University, where he was a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow. Tom’s interests cover ice-ocean and hydrology-dynamic interactions at fast-flowing outlet glaciers, with a particular focus on the Greenland Ice Sheet. His research involves the generation of large-scale Earth observation methods, datasets, and open-source software to monitor and understand how glacier and ice-sheet dynamics are evolving.
